Love lighthouses. They have saved many a life on our oceans and Great Lakes.
What I love most is that many a woman has maintained the duties of these historical structures. I hope you find them as fascinating as I do. Many are open to the public to share their stories. When you find yourself at the coast, stop by!
About a year after I moved to Washington I had noticed this pair of eagles high in a tree on my way home from work each day. My phone just could not get close enough to get a good picture. With money I received from my father's passing, I bought my first camera, a Nikon. Today I also have a Sony mirrorless which I love and keep it with me at all times. I love going for drives down unknown roads looking for wildlife and anything that catches my eye.
My photography has been featured in the Friends of Lake Sammamish newsletters and on their website, It is such a beautiful place and I am honored they have chosen to share my work. I am so inspired by this park. Take some time to enjoy the park with friends, family or maybe volunteer to help this place remain beautiful
