Point Wilson LIghthouse...
still a Beacon to wayward sailors and Their vessels

Love lighthouses. They have saved many a life on our oceans and Great Lakes.
What I love most is that many a woman has maintained the duties of these historical structures. I hope you find them as fascinating as I do. Many are open to the public to share their stories. When you find yourself at the coast, stop by!

Supporter of the US lighthouse society

About a year after I moved to Washington I had noticed this pair of eagles high in a tree on my way home from work each day. My  phone just could not get close enough to get a good picture. With money I received from my father's passing, I bought my first camera, a Nikon. Today I also have a Sony mirrorless which I love and keep it with me at all times. I love going for drives down unknown roads looking for wildlife and anything that catches my eye.

should you see a castle in the fog, step forward to see where it leads you.

wilderness is a necessity...there must be places for human beings to satisfy their souls.                             -John muir

My photography has been featured in the Friends of Lake Sammamish newsletters and  on their website, It is such a beautiful place and I am honored they have chosen to share my work.
